Outbreak Festival announces lineup for 2022, confirms Knocked Loose and Turnstile as headliners!

Outbreak Festival have announced the majority of next year’s lineup and it’s absolutely colossal.

Taking place at it’s new home of the 4500 capacity Bowlers Exhibition Centre in Manchester, next year’s festival is set to showcase some of the best names within the global hardcore punk community, with Turnstile heading the bill alongside the previously announced Knocked Loose. The announcement comes shortly following the surprise release of Turnstile’s latest EP, Turnstile Love Connection.

Alongside the plethora of new names, which includes the likes of Modern Life Is War, Vein.FM, Venom Prison, Nothing, Loathe, Superheaven and God’s Hate, the festival has also confirmed 13 exclusives for next year’s June event. One of which is Basement, with Outbreak Festival being the band’s only set for 2022. The group will also be performing Colourmeinkindness and I Wish I Could Stay Here in celebration of the records respective anniversaries. Also announced as festival exclusives for next year are Citizen, Youth As Today, Terror, Incendiary Fiddlehead, Drain, Year Of The Knife, One Step Closer and Dare.

Set to be the celebration of the festival’s 10th anniversary, Outbreak 2022 is set to be the biggest year for the globally renowned independent festival. From what originated as a small event for Sheffield’s hardcore scene, Outbreak Festival has grown into one of the most popular and vital events within the alternative UK festival circuit. A gathering of a community as opposed to a standard festival, Outbreak is now known as across the planet for it’s inclusivity and diversity.

“Our aim was always to put something together to really show the diversity within the hardcore punk community”, state the organisers. “This is a festival for everyone, a place where people can feel welcomed, allowed to express themselves however they want, meet like minded people and above all have fun. This was our goal from the start and 10 years on we are still living by this.”

Outbreak Festival is set to take place between the dates of 24th – 26th June 2022 at the Bowlers Exhibition Centre, Manchester. Tickets are available here and see the lineup thus far below. More names and details are set to be announced soon.
