Music Video Premiere: Praetorian – Burly Haemorrhoid

Yes, the new single from Praetorian is actually called that. Yes, it rips, and we’re stoked to premiere it.

Taken from the band’s upcoming record Pylon Cult – released January 31st via APF Records – ‘Burly Haemorrhoid’ is thankfully only one part of it’s delightfully wonderful moniker. The second track taken from it’s respective record following the release of the also brilliant ‘Fear And Loathing In Stevenage’, as one can imagine, this track is a torrent of filth forcibly squeezed forth from a place that could be dubbed as pure evil. It ain’t nice, but with the band’s take on blackened sludge carrying the viscous texture of contemporaries such as Mastiff, Swamp Coffin and Grief Ritual, this is perfect for those who link their metal putrid, revolting and sounding a bit like the musical equivalent of a bad time on the loo.

The music video for ‘Burly Haemorrhoid’ makes all of this quite vivid and visual though. Thankfully void of any representations or imagery related to the track’s title, the video is an intense and claustrophobic play through of the track that features a shirtless vocalist Tom Clements raging like he’s freshly out of anusol. Watch the video exclusively below, and pre-order Pylon Cult here.
